Our fine Amish pieces are crafted in Northern Red Oak, 1/4 Sawn Red and White Oak, Cherry, Maple or Hickory. Amish prefer these hardwoods because of their exceptional durability. Our Amish craftspeople take additional steps to ensure your piece will last a lifetime. The wood is first kiln-dried for strength. Then the woodworker applies your choice of stains and hardware. Lastly the piece is cured with an application of a high quality finish.
