Great River Press is one of those places locals are already talking about—even before the doors officially open. It’s the studio and gallery of regionally known printmaker Emily Gray Koehler, whose work has built a devoted following in the Minneapolis arts community and beyond.
Emily’s hand-pulled print editions are intentionally small, with a strict no-reproductions policy. If something catches your eye, it’s wise not to wait—each piece is truly limited. Her work ranges from moody Driftless vistas to intimate botanicals, all deeply rooted in a sense of place and the quiet beauty of the Upper Midwest. From fine art reduction woodcuts to hand-printed greeting cards, she has her hand in every step of the process.

Stockholm Pie has become a must stop along the Great River Road. The iconic pie shop and cafe are considered by many to be one of the top pie shops and cafe's in the country. Stockholm Pie makes every pie the way grandma did, one at a time, with real ingredients, packed with goodness and love.
